4 STARS for His Fragile Heart!

Many thanks to Crystal’s Many Reviewers!

“This was a really short and sweet read for me.  It wasn’t anything over the top, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit.
Nathan and Justin were both great characters that it was easy to connect with them both.  I could feel the pain that Nathan was going through.  It was just horrible!  Justin’s character was one that was a complete opposite – he was full of life and happy go lucky.
Being able to follow along as the relationship between Nathan and Justin was fun.  The story overall was a sweet read that while it had a little bit of suspense and drama it was still good.  I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a sweet read and a happy ending.”

CHAPTER FOUR

Nathan hadn’t had so much fun in a long time. It was two days later, Saturday night, and he and Justin were on their first date together. After the initial awkwardness of first-date jitters, they settled into easy conversation together over dinner, enjoying their meals and each other’s company.

The more time Nathan spent with Justin the harder he fell for him. Justin was just so bright and alive, a ray of light into Nathan’s life that had been dark for so long.

Justin talked with those large hands of his and his laugh was infectious. Nathan wondered what it would feel like to have Justin’s hand cupping the side of his face, Justin’s lips pressed softly against his own. And Nathan again marveled at the fact that he was able to feel any of this again after Mark’s death. There really was something special about Justin, to bring out these feelings in him again, and he hoped Justin was sensing the same connection.

Throwback Thursday – His Fragile Heart

Heart cover FINAL

For Throwback Thursday I’m showing some love to His Fragile Heart. It was a year ago yesterday that it was first published in the Finding Love anthology Carly Rose put together to benefit The Trevor Project. It’s a wonderful cause and all of the stories in the anthology had a Pride theme to them. I was honored to be asked to contribute and I’m proud of the money we raised. 🙂

Author Spotlight – Jamie Lynn Miller

I’m thrilled to say I’m the Featured Author today at J. Scott Coatsworth’s blog! Please stop by to read the great interview questions he gave me and to learn about my newest release – His Fragile Heart.

Heart cover FINAL

J. Scott Coatsworth: How would you describe your writing style/genre?

Jamie Lynn Miller: I’m definitely all about the romance and I’m the Queen of Happy Endings. I love to put my characters through all sorts of angst before they find their HEA.

JSC: What was your first published work? Tell me a little about it.

JLM: My first published work was Darkness Falls. It’s about two actors on a hit TV show, one secretly in love with the other. When one is suddenly blinded in a special effects accident on set it changes their relationship forever.
