eBook cover art reveal!

I’m thrilled to post the final cover art for my upcoming ebook, Memory’s Prisoner, designed by the very talented L.C. Chase. I love her unique take on the “hourglass” theme I requested.

Coming Soon from Dreamspinner Press:

After five years of friendship, Detectives Mitchell Reid and Joseph Valentino of the Chicago Police Department have finally crossed the line from friends to lovers, partners now both on the job and off.  Their new-found happiness is short-lived, however, when an escaped bank robber with a thirst for vengeance shatters their entire world. When the police tactical raid intended to recapture the escaped convict goes horribly wrong, Mitch is severely wounded. Joey races in to pull him to safety, but before he can reach his partner, he receives a devastating head injury. The last thing Joey sees is the love of his life bleeding out beside him.

Through a long and painful process, Mitch recovers from his own injuries only to find Joey lies in the world between life and death.

Two years later, Joey awakens from his coma and Mitch rejoices, believing their nightmare is finally over. But it’s really just beginning. Joey’s brain injury has left him with physical impairments and also partial amnesia, erasing an entire year of his memory, including the knowledge that he and Mitch are lovers. Unwilling to force the younger man back into a relationship if his feelings for him were no longer there, Mitch can only suffer in silence as he supports Joey on his long road to recovery, hoping the younger man will remember the love they once shared.

I’m hoping to have the final publication date soon!

More ebook news!

Memory’s Prisoner continues to move along the process at Dreamspinner, right on schedule.

I’ve now completed the first and second rounds of edits. So far so good! Second round was pretty much the same as the first, mainly grammatical with a few sentence rewrites. Hopefully the third, and final, round won’t throw me any curve balls. [fingers crossed]

Most exciting news is that I received my cover art drafts! I got totally lucky and got L.C. Chase as my artist. She was one that I had indicated I liked when I filled out my art questionnaire. She had a great take on the “hourglass” theme I had requested. I’ve asked for two small changes that I hope won’t be a problem. If L.C. can do them for me the cover will be perfect!

I’ll keep everyone updated!
